Dr James Burn

Biography
Dr James Burn trained at Imperial College School of Medicine and later completed his general radiology training in London before undertaking sub-specialty fellowship training in GI imaging at St Mark's Hospital, London and then Abdominal Imaging and Intervention at the University of British Columbia, Canada.
Dr Burn has been a full time NHS Consultant Gastrointestinal Radiologist at Imperial College, NHS Healthcare Trust, London, United Kingdom since 2017. He routinely undertakes a broad range of CT and MRI, US and fluoroscopic imaging, as well as image-guided drainage and biopsy procedures. He provides radiology expertise to the colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, acute surgery and pelvic floor multidisciplinary meetings. Dr Burn is the lead for Gastrointestinal imaging sub-specialty training within the Imperial Radiology Training Scheme and is a regular regional and national lecturer with multiple abstract contributions at national and international radiological meetings. He is an active participant in research and is on the editorial board for the Journal Clinical Radiology.
